hallo, Rüdiger...ich finde es schön, dass du diese Seite für deinen Freund Roland nun künftig,
an seiner Stelle, wie von ihm immer gesagt und gewünscht, weiterführst...
du bist dafür genau der richtige und das hat er immer gewusst !!!
deswegen hat er dich dafür ausgewählt...
es wird noch viele schöne Ausflüge oder Urlaubstage geben...somit weiterhin genügend
Fotos oder Berichte, die du hier weiterhin einstellen kannst

ich denk`mal, irgendwie ist Roland weiterhin "unter uns" ...gedanklich verbunden...

wir werden ihn als Freund, aber vor allem auch seine persönlichen Anrufe, vermissen...

er wollte dich gerne kennenlernen, dazu kam es ja nicht mehr...
logisch, kanntest sein Leben, wie wohl kein anderer,
du hattest auch so deine Bedenken, dass es alles für ihn dann doch jetzt viel zu anstrengend wird...

einer seiner Wünsche, ja, ich hörte davon, er wollte auf`s Ulmer Münster hoch...
vielleicht...träumt er ja nun in Frieden und Ruhe, ohne Schmerzen und Sorgen, davon ?

unvergessen...von seinen Freunden...

A very kind and caring person is no longer....and we miss hem.
It was very hard for me to understand his German-English but I could read between the lines.
I hope he will rest in peace now....he suffered enough.

I was also sorry to hear the sad news, Roland was also a good fotki friend to me, similar to Gary I enjoyed our attempts to translate each others language & communicate. He will be missed.

Roland died thursday the 22.10.2009 in his flat.

I am so sorry to hear the sad news of Roland's Passing...

Roland was a fine Fotki Friend. We were the same age.
I always enjoyed his posts and quirky translations.
Roland would like to inform me whenever I was on the front page of Fotki...
and I would of him... It was fun, enjoyable, and he will be missed...

Thank you Manfred for informing me of this...
My Thoughts go out for his Family and Friends...

Fotki have changed the Share Feature in our albums again. This allows anyone to Bookmark & Share our photos.

To turn it off you have to individually go into your Account Settings

Go to - My Account - General - Show "Add This" Button - Turn Off
