Well hello there Chuck..........

I wanted to thank you for dropping in on my album and taking a look. I hope it is an inspiration to you, although I can't believe you need any. Your works are magnificent and I for one enjoy with al my heart, looking at them and admiring them.
I really hope you're enjoying the Panzer IV thread at Mig forum. I'm posting as much as I can until the project is done.

Hi Chuck. Been meaning to drop a line in admiration of your superb modelling and artwork. I had seen much of your work through the published pages of NG&SLG, NGD and FSM etc. You've got true talent and a great eye for the smallest things. Chuck, these are GREAT. I am a collector of many old things including tractors, trucks and petrolina. I am currently building a 30's Texaco gas station across the front of my shop and have a reference Stauffer print on my shop referigator, now I have a copy of your model there too. With your permission I will use some of your ideas to complete my project.

Absolutely the finest modeling that I have ever seen. I can only hope to get this close. By the way, how do you achieve the look of grease and grime build up such as depicted in photo's, 30, 37, 39 & 40? I've worked on enough 1:1 scale engines to say that if I wasn't already aware that these were model photo's I was looking at the real thing! Thanks for sharing some of the wood modeling tips. I've tried the "knot-hole" technique in 1/4" scale and it's pretty convincing. Mark

I guess you hear it all the time, rightly so, but your work is the best I've ever seen. I spent ages looking and admiring the work shown in these albums.

I've given links to your albums to various forums on model making, all with the same message - if you want to see the best look at this site !!

Chuck, Your work looks like you were raised in the country, and some time ago, with a photographic mind for details of old things. I cannot thank you enough for sharing your superb work and photographic skills. I work in 1/12 scale, better known as "dollhouse scale" and seldom find details like yours even when the large scale easily allows it. We need more men like you in our end of the modeling hobby.

I live in the UK but model US railroads. I really admire your work and it shows what can be done. I model in HO,(BNSF) and G Scale(D&RGW Narrow Gauge)
