Hi Dmitry & Leila......I just spent a little time cruising through some of your new albums. The D300 seems to be working very nicely. It won't be long now......about 4 weeks until the Civil War begins. I'll get back to you with the details after I have them sorted out.

Hi Dmitry,

You'll have to make sure you have the latest update to Camera RAW. I use CS3 so it just works for me.

Hi Dmitri,
Good luck with CS3 then, I think it should work well.
I had huge problems myself with CS2 especially after I got myself a Canon 40D. That camera has also a new type of raw, sRaw...they are way smaller but have the same advantage as the big CR2 files.
They come in handy when you need to take loads of pics on a vacation or something as they are only 7 instead of 13 mb large which makes a big difference in CF cards you need!

Good morning Dmitry........I just checked my Fotki this morning and I got a message from Viviane after she read your message to me.

She says: "I just read Dmitri's message below...I had the same with the Canon sRaw files...the normal Raw worked pretty well. I now use Photoshop CS3 Extended Version 10.0 and I am told it can read anything! The software provided with the camera will certainly work, it did with my canon too without any problems."

I've been thinking of updating to CS3 and maybe this is the reason to do it. Hope this helps.

Hey.................D300! Good for you. I was shooting at Road America yesterday and bumped into a guy from England shooting for a British racing magazine. He shot the D300 and LOVED it. He had a beautiful 400mm f/2.8 Nikkor lens to go with it; with the 1.5 digital conversion, it was equivalent to 600mm. It did a phenomenal job....I saw some of his shots. I think you will like it a lot. Are you ready for the Civil War in September? Did I send you the promotional brochure? If not, let me know and I will send it to you.

Hi Dmitry...thanks for the visit and nice comment. You should come up this way next spring and shoot the triathlon with me. I think it would be fun. I've been very busy the last few weeks. Lots of baseball games at the high school and races at the track at Road America. Later today I will post nearly 300 shots from the June Sprints. Do you enjoy auto racing? I don't particularly like it.....but I LOVE photographing it, especially when I know some of the drivers. You should join me sometime.
