The '54 Olds convertible you have pictured..... It's built from a resin kit that was sold by Shawn Carpenter. He mastered the convert from a two door sedan that I mastered in 1987/1988. I used the 1:1 '54 Super 88 2dr sedan in my backyard for the pattern and measurements. Shawn and I produced the sedan in partnership from '91 to '96. I'm impressed by your collection of replica stock models, my favorite kind ! Please visit my Fotki site, named simply Tom Coolidge.

Merry Christmas to you & yours, Jeff!

I really enjoyed reading "About You" and how your fascination with cars began. Our grandson LOVES the tiny Matchbox Cars. From the instant his little feet hit the floor everyday, he totes a lavendar bucket around with his cars. Should he ever slow down & stop, he's lining his little cars all in a neat row. He has done this since ever turning one. This has always fascinated everyone how/why such a little tyke would be so precise when lining those cars up. Now that he talks where he can be understood [ lol ] he explains that is his car lot ... sure enough, on the Bypass there are dozens of car lots w/their autos all neatly lined in a row --- on his side of his Mommy's SUV... Who would ever think such a tiny tot would be noticing objects out a back window of a moving auto?

Who knows what our little darlings future holds? Right now, at three, it is his bucket of timy bye-bye's.

Thanks, Jeff, we enjoyed visiting your Fotki and we'll be Baaaack!

Best Wishes,
Gloria
