TV tuners capture video and screencaps really dark for some reason. I have an image batch editor called EyeBatch. It will resize, brighten, all kinds of cool stuff. I average about 500 caps an episode and this program edits them all in seconds. There are others out there, but this one did the most. It's about $50 and worth every penny.
