Song on the LL Bean ad is not by Roger Miller. It was sung many years ago in the 1930's by a Texas singer named Cliff Carlisle.

RED DEVIL

To my friends on the summit, Brad in particular, thanks for the photo of the Old Man and the new site which I've added to my friends list.

Hope all is well on the rock pile. Tell me, does anyone remember Martie Enstrum (forgive the spelling not really sure how he spelled it.)? I remember as a kid growing up in Berlin, NH watching the weather reports from the summit on WMTW out of Poland Springs, ME. Martie was a nice fella and always gave me a smile and happy memories. And let's not forget that cat who helped give the forcasts with him.

Keep up the good work folks!!

THANK YOU!! I grew up in the Mt. Washington Valley (Berlin). I have many photos of my visits to the summit. Everytime I get back home, the sight of Mt. Wahsington is still breath taking. Now that the Old Man passed, this is my only rock solid foundation left. PLEASE keep up the good work and thanks again for this site. Check out my site on FOTKI you may see something that you've seen before.

You are doing a great job here Brad; the
only problem is that these pictures are
addictive, I spend hours browsing thru
them. My first trip to the summit was
Oct. 8 '06, vis was 110+ miles, just
awesome ! One of these days I'll have
enough cash to become a MWO member and
support the great work that is being
done up there.
Thanks again, Merv.
-----
Thanks Merv. Becoming a member is a great goal. You might think about just sending off $5 this year - then increase it a bit each year.

The Observatory crew does a wonderful job and they always need the support of one more person.

This site is set up to provide an archiving service for the Observatory's web camera images. Have a good time checking out the images and what the weather conditions have been recently.

Remember to go to the Observatory's actual web site at www.mountwashington.org

Brad
