"My first camera (circa 1960) was a Brownie. Not this model... the Cube-shaped plastic box. Mine was light green and I had it for years. I got sand in it on our trip to England when I was about 5 and from then on, every time I took a photo, the trigger lever made a grinding sound. But it still worked!"

Thanks for the comment on my "Brownie" photo. That's pretty cool. Any chance you still have it? The brownie I have operates, however, I have not run film through it yet to see how it shoots. It's been awhile, but last I saw, there's a place in California that will sell the film and process it. If I can scrape some money together, I may try it. I am curious as to how the film will appear.

Yes, I opened the guestbook. I was a bit wary of it, the one-sided comments feel odd after hootoo, but I see how it works now.

You have a point about those Newburugh 'trees'!

I checked out the Picadilly theatre edits - it's interesting what different effects do - there was one that brought out the side window which I hadn't really noticed before.

Hi Anneke!!! Great idea for a Fotki Game!!! Quite a long explanation that you might have to condense in order to get others to become interested... Try to shorten the description a bit... I haven't been doing photo contests for some years now as it became too time consuming for me with everything else, but your idea of a Fotki game is cool!!! Thank you very much for your comments and interest on my Easter photos in general! Darker (more gray) eggs were painted with bilberries. Definitely even I am not able to eat all of eggs painted by me. Usually I am visiting friends. Definitely some of eggs are taken to the office... Peteris
