Hi Marilyn
I've just had a look at your hummer and butterfly collections. What an experience !
and humbling too ! those butterflies , so sharp and colourful and the hummers in mid flight are incredible ! I need to graduate from my snail studies after this (t.i.c.(tongue in cheek)) !

It is obvious you know classic cars much better than I do :)

I would have loved to shoot those cars under better conditions. They were parked very close together and I could not isolate one car in a shot. I could not get a perspective to shoot the entire car at all that wasn't completely cluttered.

My darling Marilyn! Bless your heart!!! You have capped the end of my birthday day so beautifully with your warmth & love ,thank you so much, I have had the most wonderful day ....broken leg, rain & everything it has been gorgeous!!! I have been sung to cooked for & loved all day & I am very Blessed indeed!!! Get this third cast off on the 16th of September ,hopefully everything will be fine & then straight into physiotherapy to learn to walk properly again. Well I think I have gotten thru' life splendidly ,it is the first time I have ever broken any bones so now ,thanks to Simba, I have experienced what it is like. No roses at the moment Marilyn ,it is almost the end of Winter here ,Spring starts on the 1st of September so a few early blooms around but I am not that steady at the moment & to be honest don't want to tempt fate by using the Tri Pod ...;o)))!!! I am a clutz at the best of times!!!!!!! You have a gorgeous day too Marilyn ,it must be almost the beginning of Fall.....I adore Autumn ,the time of harvest & glorious colour & bounty!!! Hi Marilyn,
Just popping in to thank you for your recent visit and for taking the time to leave some comments. I appreciate it very much.
I have been too busy to spend any time on fotki for the last few weeks but hopefully things will ease up as September moves on through.
Our summer was non-existent so I am a little envious to hear you had temperatures of 100*. We had that last year though - well about 90* anyway - so no doubt it will work its way back round to us again sooner or later. Here's hoping anyway!
Eventually I'll get round to uploading zillions more photos and to visiting everyone else's albums, but until I get the time I'll just have to content myself with leaving brief messages here and there to thank people for their visits. How lovely it is that fotki friends are so patient and understanding!

Marilyn, it's been a while since I last visited you. I intended to look at a couple of shots but got caught up in your insect work. Why haven't I seen this stuff before? I must be blind! WONDERFUL stuff. I stayed a lot longer than intended......and left a lot of comments. Hope you don't mind. I'll be back to check out your hummer album. Thanks for the enjoyable, and brain challenging, evening. Man.....I hadn't thought of some of those critters names in a LONG time. I amazed myself that lots of them were right there, buried in the gray matter and ready for dredging. Fun!

Naughty Marilyn !!! LOL!!! You are just too cheeky for words ,for goodness sake I am 59 years old on Tuesday ...LOL!!! Getting younger & younger I don't think so Doll !!! Wish I was though ....no actually come to think of it I don't really ...apart from the broken leg I am very content in my life to be honest ,I would hate to be 17 again ,wouldn't you Marilyn ,especially in this day & age ,it is so hard on the young ones these days I reckon !!! Hey thanks for liking what I look like but you forgot to count the gray hairs on my head sweet girlfriend & by the way I adore your little birdies in the Digital this week ,just gotta get back to write on them !!! Hey I've got a broken leg girlfriend ,steel plate & seven pins ,I am the bionic woman whom cannot get out to take photographs Marilyn !!! How dreadful is that ????? I've got very severe withdrawal symptoms which is why I am uploading old photos into the contests because I hate not partaking in the fun !!!!
