Lee Armory National Guard building again saw the deployment of the Unit's deployment to Iraq. While families held each other close, old friends and neighbors stood need to reassure their friend or loved one that they are supported here at home. The buses that were taking our heroes back to war drove down Highway 67 South into Hoxie saw hundreds of citizens lining the road waving their flags as a see ya later rather than a good bye. The Robert E. Lee Armory National Guard Unit was deployed previously October 10, 2003.
