The celebration was kicked off with a ham and bean supper Friday evening while giving vendors time to set up their booths and those in the tractor pull time to make last minute adjustments. Saturday morning, November 3rd started early with a pancake breakfast from 5:00 A.M. Presentation of Mr and Mrs Foothills of 2006 began at 9:00 A.M. with the presentation of the Flag by the Black Rock Boy Scouts and the Pledge of Allegiance recited. The 2007 - 2008 Mr. and Mrs. Foothills was introduced and presented to the crowd. A tractor pull captured many people's attention during the after noon while some attended the Cute Kiddie contest and other attractions such as clogging, religious singing and country music entertained into the evening.
