Hey, Cat!

What's up? I just got back from deployment not too long ago. It was a blast! Man, besides N1H1 on the ship. Spain was spectacular!
I'm going to be starting to shoot again. I'm pretty syked. Leave your C & C when / if you get a chance. I figure your busy these days.
PS. My Early Out Seperation to attend CSU (Charleston Southern) got approved! I start terminal leave on Nov 18th! It's right around the corner. I can't wait! I'm looking at working with a guy in the Knightsville area that runs a Kennel. An hourly/flexible schedule around my busy school schedule. The new POST 911 is no joke!

I don't know if you remember me, we ran in different circles back then but we were on Yellowstone together and I do remember you. Your Photo Album is GREAT!

The Myspace site (my kids helped me set it up, and I’m responsible for all the content) is my way to reach out. I've had it for over 2 years and I've communicated with some great people. Many I know from my involvement with American Cancer Society (Relay for Life) and of course Team In Training for with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. (Some were team-mates as we trained and did the 2009 WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon this past January, others are past coaches and alumni and I was their “Patient Honoree.”) Please feel free to read my blogs, I just recently added one; check it out if you'd like. I love to be read, it’s my new medicine. ;-) Cancer survivorship. As of March 4 2009 I am now a 5-year cancer SURVIVOR! (a mile-marker on the road to the rest of my life, I just gotta try to enjoy the journey!) This past April 22nd it has been 4 years since my last treatment. I am still in my "now what" phase and I am always looking for ways to be involved with other people, and maybe help someone that may be facing what I've already been through. I keep my page open to easily invite other people that are interested in sharing experiences, stories, etc

As for the Yellowstone group site, that's a new one. I've got 5 Yellowstone shipmates on my friends list (including Tammy Shultz/SilvrPhoenix, from R-3 Div) so I thought a group would be a cool way to stir up some old sea-stories and remember some good times. I've wanted to set up something for a while, but I haven't had the time until now.
A few years back, I had signed up on Classmates.com and they have a military section but it's hard to communicate with people on that site. I'm hoping this will be much better.

i really love your photos. i am wondering if you happened to catch a certain one. It was sunday, June 14 in Spencer, Ohio. it was The Spencer baseball team against the Wellington dukes. Im looking for one from the end of the second game where number 20 from black river caught a fly ball off in left field. he was sorta lying in the air and hit the ground landing on his side. please let me know cuz i would LOVE to buy it as a gift for him. thank you!

well i just happened to be cruising the net...looking for a cruise book and i found your page...I used to be in Medical,worked in the lab.....i was probably the youngest of the hm3s back then besides smitty...So i enjoyed your pics...and wish you the best...Im an old guy now...only did ten of the 20 but..i was smart enough..finished school and married an O in the air force..shes a ltcol..nurse type...we live in Minot cold ass North Dakota at the present...one more tour till she retires with 28 years in...take care...

Hi Cat! I have been checking out your photo's. I am very impressed with the quality of your work. If I can but be half the photographer you are I will be happy. I haven't seen you since God's Katrina's kitchen; but your smile will always be with me. The short time we spoke, has built up a life long friendship. Hopefully someday my wife and I can come visit you, wouldn't that be nice. Well anyway, great photo's, I took plenty of notes on what you did; hope you don't mind. You've got some great ideas! Ha! Ha!

Hello just wanted to say great job on yellowstone photos. i came across these surfing and saw your photo. Dont know if you remember me, but i was also on the stone from 87 to 90 in the Dive locker and as far as i know i was the only Moose aboard at that time. take care and keep up the great work .

I was browsing your on call site. I liked how you said "I don't capture the hands but the love in the hands". That's awesome! I followed the Fotki link and have been checking out your latest stuff. It gets better and better each time I stop by. I know you will keep up the good work.
