Thank you so very much for taking photos of my Richards at Mt. Olivet Cemetery
and for including the Dillingham and Cunningham relations. Buried adjacent
are another Richards family whom I am presently investigating to see if there is
some sort of connection which I don't know about.

I think your red motorbike adds a terrific splash of colour.

I would be interested to know what the stone building is next to the felled tree.

It is extremely generous of you to take the time and trouble to take those photos. I
have on occasion taken photos here in England for people researching their ancestry and know that it is a commiment not easily taken.

I really enjoy your website. Keep up the good work. Do you know how many cemeteries were in the early days of Miller Township, Marion Co., MO?
Was Bear Creek Cemetery , the only cemetery there in the 1800's ? My family names from that area were Barton - Thrasher - McCrea ( also spelled McRea).

Thank you for the wonderful photos, the listing of the burials, and your careful attention to giving directions and even photos of the way to the Buffalo Jordan Cemetery. I have known for some time that my Great great grandfather and GG grandmother were buried here, but was unable until now to have a photo of the cemetery or their graves. How delighted I was to find Dawson Wade's tombstone..and it indicated he was in the Civil War, which I had not known. Your listings also helped me know that my G grandmother and G Grandfather were there, as well as several other Wade children. There are Inces, Wades, and Howdeshells, all related to me! Such a delight to see this peaceful place and know that they are there. I hope to visit it one day in person, but even if I don't I feel that I have "been there." Such a lot of effort..and what a blessing for future generations. I wish I had photos of each of their headstones, but that is a project for me someday, perhaps. Thank you and best wishes, Cerelle

I tried looking at the Joseph Elias Carroll folder, but my FOTKI password wouldn't work. Do I need a special password?

Joseph Carroll & his wife Isabel HENRY are my 4th G Grandparents. I would like to learn more about them if possible.

Found this site amazing-so much hard work to make all of this info available. It has helped my genealogy work on the Brummer and Fincke families of the Hannibal/Ralls Co. areas. Any sugggestions as to how one might find a picture of Dora M. Fincke Brummer? She was born in 1899 and died in 1931, she has two living children who do not have any pictures of her. I would also like to have more info on the Hanniabl Orphanage.

just got home from Hannibal again this weekend. Had some more research to do on my family genealogy. Spent the morning in the library, then 5-1/2 hours in Mt Olivet! I wanted to goto Riverside Cemetery, and St Mary's Cemetery, didnt make it, nor did we make it to West Ely or Renneslear.
Anyway, what a great weekend! Weather was pleasant, my wife spent the morning downtown at the fest, then after breakfast this morning, we walked around downtown.....
