Hello,

I saw your name on my 'friend of' list and thought you might like to know that I have added my photos of my holiday in Wales:

http://public.fotki.com/ditchdigger/visit_britain/wales/

Even if you have seen these before, I have now finished labelling them all, some also have extra info on the sites.

Simon

Hi Ralph,
Do you purge your Guest Book?
If you got that many pictures, you should have miles of entries.

Most of the real old BW pictures are scanned with a 1200x2400 dpa scanner set to 300x300 or 600x600 depending on the size of the original. Further processing is made by the simple MS Picture It SW. Particularily light/shade and contrast are important.
Some colour pictures (1990-2003) are scanned from paper prints, but most (1968-1989) are scanned from diapositives at 1800x1800 dpa in the film frame. Further processing are also made with Picture It.
Digital pictures (the recent ones) are sporting EXIF data.
