I can't believe how cerebral you look in the photo. And that Mustang is to die for!!!! Now you really have to come to TN so that I can ride in it. I remember the first convertible. Do you? You were the envy of all of the Youth Group at Christ Memorial. More on your regular page.
Sal

Hi Mike,

Thanks for responding; since it's a smaller truck, my basic chassis was taken from the Ford C-600 with many modifications made to it. I also used the wheels and tires from the same kit, because I found the one that came with the casting were to “military like” to my taste.

Finally, the basic engine came from a 1958 Pontiac AMT kit; many of the '60's truck use this powerfull and strong engine, naturally I had to modified and scratchbuilt many parts, because truck carb, air cleaner and such were very different than cars.

The balance, bed, tarpoll, wood side were all scrachbuilt, it was a fun project to do, since we don't see to many arround at model shows.

Cheers, and I will be in Parsippany next March 25th; I've put truck aside a bit latelly, after 25 years of building them, I had to take a break (LOL). Latelly I've been building a lot of Rat Rods (as seen in our Fotki WEB site), but recently, I started a truck project... a 1929 Ford BB truck... just can't stay away from trucks for long... LOL.

Francois
