Hello Sis,

I am writing as many sisters as possible to let them know about a recent experience I had. A few days ago, I went into a local Great Clips to get my ends lightly dusted. Their employee cut the back of my hair. She is downplaying the effects her actions had on my hair and on me. The company is playing a game; calling me to collect information and cover themselves legally, but not to gain a full understanding of what damages were really done. They are not apologetic and they do not in the least seem truly concerned with how I have been affected by their employee's actions.

For every sistah who has ever gone in for a trim and come out with a cut - I am going forward with a lawsuit. Please pass the word. My journey, consisting of pictures and updates on the Great Clips Saga are being maintained on my hair website: www.fotki.com/nottylock I appreciate any support you can lend.

(There is a likelihood that in sending this message out to so many people that I will reach an employee of Great Clips or someone who knows an employee of Great Clips. I preferred that the company not have access to my online album yet, but I am willing to take the chance that they may find out somehow through the distribution of this message. But at least I will get the word out to hundreds, maybe thousands, of sisters all over the world in the process.)

This upcoming year on February 11th, 2007, i will be viaing for the title of Miss Junkanoo Bahamas. For all of you who dont know what Junkanoo is....google it...LOL..or see the pageant website: www.missjunkanoobahamas.com !

I just love the felling and look of
my locks after the "Touch-Up"
Your hair is growing.They're looking good.
You styled your hair> Yay(so cute)
I've rolled my locks but I rolled upwards for the "flipped" look. I just haven't posted them but I promise I will. I know that the flipped curls would look nice on Ya!

Montgomerygirl I know u from OCBF! Are u still in the Dance ministry? I used to be in the Deaf ministry but I've since left OCBF. I'm in the sisterlock family too, 8 months now. It is a wonderful experience having SLs. I love them as I'm sure you do yours. Go by my blog Lock Venture and see if u recognize me.
