Thank you Chester,
I have been looking at some of your albums and am very impressed. My life has been way to busy the last few years leaving little room for modeling. Now I find myself with some free time and am commited to building a model railroad layout and constructing again.

The basic design and concept has been done for years and now is the time. Having found the 1/87th group and rail line forum as well as your work I am again inspired and ready.

I will try to document some of the work on my fotki page.

Again I thank you for the help and quick response.

Great work Chester. I found you through the 1/87th scale info group. I look forward to veiwing all your photos. Like the Pinto wagon as well.

Good afternoon, Chester. I found your incredible work as a result of trying to find a good quality HO scale brick sheet. I actually googled 1/87 scale brick sheet, and it plopped me on your site. As some of the other comments have stated, your work is absolutely amazing!
I did find your comment refering to Evergreen Scale Products as being the best brick available. I tried to find it on their web site but it's not listed (?)
Could you direct me to where you get it?
I also live in Maine, in the Portland area, but not too much in the way of supplies available 'live'.
I'd appreciate any help you may be willing to give.

Your dioramas are almost unfathomable. 1/87th scale is H.O., right? The level of detail and realism is unbelievable. I am very impressed. The detail is amazing. Whereabouts are you in ME? I lived in Rockland for a short time (one year and six weeks in '80-'81).
Our family takes a vacation in Union on Senebec Pond every summer (family cottage)... thanks for sharing this amazing stuff!!!

Chester, great work with the blocks. I love the structure.

You have fascinated me for your work. The true fact is - When I like somebody's craftsmanship and imagination (Usually there are not too many in the world in my strict judgment), they are GOOD. Your work stands by next to those great master craftsman always fascinated us. Many of whom unfortunatley no longer with us anymore.I can only hope that you would wish to teach your skill and technics to a right person along the way. You are at the same time an architect, an engineer, a set director, an artist, a historian and most of all - a story teller.

Absolutely love the buildings and grounds in your work. Would love to know some of the techniques you use to weather the buildings and more about getting the effects of the boards on the buildings. Stunning work!
