and modified 8 months ago THINGYAN is the Myanmar New Year Festival and ustally falls around mid-April. It is celebrated over a period of four or five days. (For this year, 13 to 16 April). This festival is the most beautiful and enjoyable in Myanmar because it Welcome to New Year.
In the Festival, we are sprinkling, splashing of water on one another lovely. It is intended to metaphorically "wash away" one's sins of the previous year. And it is very hot time of the year and a good dousing is welcomed be most.
For this year, 17 April is Myanmar New Year Day.
