I recently finished uploading and captioning the pictures of the arrival of our church's new organ. It was quite a project to bring it in and lift it up to the choir loft. The shortcut to that album is: http://peirce.fotki.com/ucc-southbury/ucc-arrival-of-new-organ/

You can view these picture one at at a time, in which case you can leave comments, or you can view them as a slide show.

I have captioned the pictures and also put in a limited amount of technical information. During the early days of the voicing process I was able to sit a listen to it. This organ has an excellent sound.

Hi Ron,
What a bummer of a trip. It sounds like the airline was not much help in making you comfortable on the trip home.

I have to agree with you. I used to like to fly, but it is no fun any more. The seats are uncomfortable and too close together. In fact, I now call Tourist Class the Sardine Section. Service seems to be getting worse and the latest mergers are not going to help at all.

Although the security measures can be annoying, Janet and I have learned how to deal with them and we have little problem there. In fact, some of the screeners have been quit helpful.

Take care and mend well. Meanwhile get lots of rest and all the exercise the doctors will allow. Our prayers are with you for a full and speedy recovery.

Thanks for your comments.Sorry I didn't make it clear where my pictures are taken.Most of my pictures are taken in Scotland unless I have been on holiday. Knockan Crag is in Rosshire in the north of Scotland. It is a special tourist centre built to tell people about the geology of the area and the pictures in this album are views taken from the car park looking out towards the mountains. I live in the north of Scotland in a little place called Tarbet and when we visit Ullapool 50 miles away we always stop here to give the dogs a run and the view changes all the time. I will geo tag it so you know where it is and you will also see Tarbet.

I finally got the OK to remove the password from the album of pictures for the Southbury Library's submission for an architecture award. We did not win, but it was a good effort. We are quite proud of our new library building.
