We stayed at the Glacier Canyon Lodge and enjoyed the water parks for three beautiful days.

No significant purple fringe with this lens!
Colors look good and the macro ability is fine
My 28-200 and 70-300 will stay in the bag or maybe at home.

Uncle Russel used to farm in this valley in the 50's. Climbing the bluffs was great fun as a kid. Some of the shots are just north of the park on the way there.

Nonetheless, Oxbow County Park, 5 miles northwest of Rochester, contains one of the finest examples of native deciduous forest in southeastern Minnesota.

Oxbow Park offers almost any outdoor enthusiast a chance to pursue his or her favorite activity: hiking, camping, fishing, picnics. Park facilities include hiking trails, campground, four picnic areas, each with a covered shelter. One of the areas also has playground equipment, and a ball field is maintained during the summer for public use. Oxbow campground in a semi-primitive area has 30 campsites available, running water, restrooms, and showers.
